Baroque Sicily

The Sicilian Baroque is the pure expression of Sicilian personality and that is why it has developed in such a spectacular way. John J. Ide (Royal Institute of British Architects 1958) wrote “Noto is the perfect city” but the cities of Siracusa, Ragusa and Catania also create the backdrop to this expression of Sicilian personality through their fine noble and religious buildings. These are just some of the places that hide the “treasures” of a Sicily which, over the centuries, has welcomed civilizations from different places in the Mediterranean and has allowed the flourishing of cultures that have met, intertwined and transformed here, enriching it and making it a unique place.

Greco-Roman theaters and temples, castles and palaces in Gothic and Baroque style, the offer is varied enough to satisfy the interests of the most demanding visitors.

The itineraries, depending on the location chosen, can have a duration of half or a full day.
