The Aeolian archipelago – Etna 

Day 1: Catania Meeting at the airport of Catania. Transfer to Milazzo and hydrofoil to Lipari island. Day 2: Lipari Hike on the south side of the island walking trough the terraces on the sea with stunning views of the near island of Vulcano. Day 3: Vulcano Ascent to the crater and fumaroles visit. Possibility to take a mud bath in a warm pool. Day 4: Stromboli Transfer by hydrofoil to the island of Stromboli. In the afternoon excursion to the “Sciara del Fuoco” where we can observe the volcanic crater activities. Day 5: Stromboli Free morning to visit the village and hydrofoil to Milazzo. Transfer by minibus to Catania. The city that was rebuilt after the earthquake of 1693 in the Etneo – Baroque style. Day 6: Etna South (3h +200 m -200 m / 6 km)   Walking tour through the south side of the volcano to admire its craters and the huge caldera of the Valle del Bove. Day 7: Syracuse Today we will spend the day in Siracusa on the island of Ortigia where the most significant Siracusano – Baroque buildings are located and in the afternoon we will visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis.
