Spirit of the Volcanoes aims at showing you north-eastern Sicily, especially the area of Etna and the Aeolian Islands, in a simple way, with creative programs which are the result of years of experience and of a careful selection of itineraries and suggestions. Spirit of the Volcanoes offers you a series of tours aimed at those who want to enjoy nature and learn about the history and character of Sicilian people. Spirit of the Volcanoes is not a tour operator or an agency, but the venture of a Sicilian who loves his country and is passionate about travelling, one who works outside standard programs and aims to help you travel as you like it. My goal is to reveal the power of nature and especially of active volcanoes to create spaces for pleasure and entertainment but also for silence and reflection. We will also explore towns and villages where there is still authenticity and where we will be able to understand the bond that people keep with their past.
Spirit of the Volcanoes offers you a series of tours that are based on different trails through natural areas and also include walks through cities and villages, visiting historical markets, craft shops, festivals… tasting local wines and typical products. We can organize day trips as well as weekend or several days programmes depending on the time you have and your interests. The itineraries mentioned are just a few examples to give you some ideas.
